A little help to make your life a little easier and less time consuming.
It‘s been suggested for years by my friends to write a blog on dealing with customer service, which often can be extremely frustrating and lately with Covid, everyone has had to endure having to call instead of having face to face contact. I actually relish less contact and more efficient results. 😂
I spent some time this morning calling Home Depot to access a order number for our refrigerator we purchased a few years ago. We had registered it but our email changed and though we had help from them to change the email in our account, it never stuck. As a result, nobody could access the purchases ☹️🤦🏼♀️
After being bounced around on the phone, I decided to go to the app and discovered that they offer texting 👍🏽, I love texting 🤣‼️
I explained my problem and within minutes after delivering my name and zip code, a sweet lady found my receipt and order number and emailed it to my current email address and once again changed it in my account 🤣
Here’s the number to chat with Home Depot which you can connect directly to on their app:
+1 (800) 430-3376
> The tone of your voice, your kind demeanor, your appreciative nature, generally the way you present your predicament will make all the difference in your experience. And if you get a customer service rep that’s just not into helping, just graciously hang up, wait a bit and try try again 😁
> just now: I recently purchased a set of diamond drill bits that were too small. I had to return and reorder them for a larger set. In the end the only bit that worked was the largest that immediately broke. So I sent an email alert to the company which took just seconds. The response was that I could order them individually 😆 for $15 each but I thought 💭 shouldn’t they replace it with free shipping? A simple email reply got a response in 48 hours and today, just a week later, I received 3, not just 1 replacement. Again, patience is key. And always, always, always end your request with: Mahalo for your kind consideration❣️
You are the queen of dealing with customer service! 🙌🏽
